Description

This foundational multi-component formulation features lipid nanoparticle encapsulated messenger RNA (LNP-encapsulated mRNA). The complex non-vesicular internal architecture features a dense, multi-layered core composed of single-stranded messenger RNA (mRNA) sequences complexed with ionizable cationic lipids, enveloped within a outer monolayer shell of helper lipids, cholesterol, and pegylated lipids. This advanced layout coordinates the ionizable lipid headgroups to completely neutralize charge at physiological pH while establishing a highly protective physical matrix that shields the long, fragile mRNA chains from rapid chemical hydrolysis in open laboratory media.
