Description

This highly advanced responsive system features magnetic nanoparticle-conjugated thermosensitive liposomes designed with an inorganic-organic hybrid core-shell architecture. The internal structure encapsulates superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles within its central aqueous core, while the surrounding phospholipid bilayer incorporates a specific blend of saturated lipids to establish a precise main phase transition temperature (Tm 41-42ºC). When exposed to alternating high-frequency magnetic fields or thermal gradients in a laboratory setup, the internal magnetic particles generate localized heat that induces rapid phase conversion of the bilayer from a rigid gel state to a fluid liquid-crystalline state, triggering immediate cargo mass transport.
