These unique mesoporous silica nanospheres feature a star-shaped or "wrinkled" morphology with large, open-access pore channels. This hierarchical structure significantly increases the external surface area and provides better access to the internal pores compared to conventional spherical particles. This design is engineered to optimize mass transport and minimize diffusion resistance, making these nanospheres highly effective for applications involving the storage or catalytic conversion of bulky molecules.
