Description

This product consists of myricetrin proliposomes formulated as a solid-state dry powder matrix. The structure is composed of microcrystalline sugar or polyol carriers that support a uniform layer of dehydrated lipids and the natural flavonoid glycoside myricetrin. This dry configuration completely prevents the hydrolytic cleavage of glycosidic bonds and chemical oxidation during extended laboratory storage. Upon contact with an aqueous buffer, the solid matrix dissolves instantly, allowing the components to spontaneously form small liposomal vesicles enclosing the flavonoid.
