Description
This advanced engineered photo-responsive sub-micron system features near-infrared light triggered drug-loaded nanoliposomes. The sub-micron structural matrix encapsulates a model drug compound alongside a near-infrared photothermal agent (such as indocyanine green or gold nanorods) within its high-purity phospholipid vesicle template. Under baseline laboratory conditions, the vesicle matrix remains highly stable; however, exposure to specific near-infrared laser wavelengths triggers immediate photothermal conversion, causing localized thermal phase transitions, lateral lipid phase separation, and instantaneous sub-micron membrane mass transport.
