Description

This advanced composite formulation features o-trimethyl chitosan coated and doxorubicin loaded liposomes. The structural matrix encapsulates the hydrophilic anthracycline doxorubicin entirely within its central aqueous core via an active remote-loading gradient, utilizing a high-purity phospholipid vesicle core whose exterior polar boundary is enveloped by an electrostatically bound outer layer of the water-soluble, quaternized biopolymer o-trimethyl chitosan. This quaternized biopolymer modification establishes a robust positive surface potential and a dense protective hydration barrier, altering overall membrane bending elasticity to completely prevent physical vesicle aggregation while completely suppressing anthracycline leakage or rapid phase separation under ambient laboratory testing conditions.
