Description

This formulation features octreotide-modified polyethylene glycol adjusted stealth liposomes engineered with a sterically stabilized affinity surface. The vesicular structure is composed of high-purity hydrogenated phospholipids and cholesterol that form a dense bilayer shell, while the exterior surface is functionalized with octreotide cyclic peptide ligands covalently linked to polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymer anchors. This surface modification alters the overall surface topography, membrane packing density, and surface charge profile. The resulting vesicles exhibit high colloidal stability and provide a defined model for peptide surface interaction assays in cell-free environments.
