Description

This product consists of oleanolic acid novel proliposomes formulated as an advanced solid-state dry powder precursor matrix to enhance the dispersion of a hydrophobic pentacyclic triterpenoid acid. The structure is composed of microcrystalline sugar or polyol carriers that support a uniform layer of dehydrated lipids and the active plant extract component oleanolic acid. This dry configuration completely prevents chemical oxidation and crystallization during extended laboratory storage. Upon exposure to an aqueous phase, the solid matrix dissolves immediately, allowing the lipid components to spontaneously form small liposomal vesicles enclosing the triterpenoid.
