Properties
Description
Lentinan-PEG-OPSS, referred to as OPSS-lentinan, represents a disulfide-reactive conjugate created through orthopyridyl disulfide group conjugation to lentinan's β-1,3-1,6-glucan via PEG spacers. The thiol-cleavable system enables redox-sensitive drug release while preserving lentinan's immunomodulatory profile and DPPS fusogenicity.
Glycan Structure
Its glycan structure is a β-(1→3)-linked d-glucose backbone with β-(1→6)-glucosyl side branches.
Source
Chemical synthesis
Impurities
No visible impurities to the naked eye.
Solubility
This product is soluble in most organic solvents, such as DCM, DMF, DMSO, and THF, and exhibits excellent solubility in water.
Identity
Confirmed by NMR.
Applications
Lentinan-PEG-orthopyridyl disulfide can be used for its potential to investigate disulfide bond dynamics using orthopyridyl disulfide redox-responsive linkers.
