Description

This advanced engineered multi-phase formulation features ovarian cancer targeted lipid-stabilized sub-micron microbubbles. The sub-micron architecture consists of a gaseous core (composed of high-molecular-weight perfluorocarbon gases) encapsulated within a monolayer shell of phospholipids and pegylated lipids whose outer surface is functionalized with specific ovarian cancer target-mimetic antibodies or peptide links. This complex layout balances a dense target-mimetic macromolecular array with the acoustic resonance and echogenic parameters of a compressed gas core, completely preventing gas dissolution and physical bubble aggregation under ambient laboratory testing conditions.
