Lentinan-PEG-phenylboronic acid, known as PBA-lentinan, features a glucose-sensitive conjugate formed through PEG-mediated PBA attachment to lentinan's β-1,3-1,6-glucan. The smart system enables sugar-responsive behavior while maintaining lentinan's macrophage-modulating effects and DPPS membrane interactions.
