Description

This highly specialized anionic membrane formulation features phosphatidylcholine (PC) and cardiolipin blended in a precise 5:95 molar ratio. The vesicular architecture consists of an overwhelmingly dominant matrix of cardiolipin (95 mol%), a unique tetra-acyl lipid carrying two negative charges, interspersed with 5 mol% zwitterionic phosphatidylcholine. This high cardiolipin concentration creates an exceptionally dense negative surface charge profile and introduces high structural sensitivity to divalent cations, altering membrane packing geometry, fluidity, and phase behavior.
