Description

This advanced composite material features pegylated dendrimer liposomes designed with an organic polymer-lipid hybrid architecture. The internal structure encapsulates hyperbranched poly(amidoamine) or poly(propylene imine) dendrimers within the central aqueous compartment of a robust phospholipid vesicle matrix, while the outer surface is modified with covalently attached polyethylene glycol (PEG) chains. This complex configuration combines the dense internal loading cavities of a dendritic polymer core with the steric stabilization properties of a hydrophilic polymer shield on the lipid boundary. The resulting pegylated hybrid vesicles exhibit high colloidal stability and a narrow sub-micron size distribution profile.
