This product is composed of pH-responsive Schiff base copolymer-coated mesoporous silica (SiO2) drug-loaded nanoparticles featuring a robust inorganic core wrapped in a responsive polymer jacket. The internal structure comprises a highly ordered mesoporous silicon dioxide geometry that incorporates a dense network of uniform pore channels. It relies on the dynamic cleavage of acid-labile azomethine linkages within the outer polymeric layer to control structural open-close cycles.
