Xylan-PEG-polylactide represents a three-element conjugate assembly engineered to amalgamate the sustainable polymeric components of xylan—a plant-derived polysaccharide consisting of β-1,4-xylose units—with PLA's molecular properties via PEG spacer linkage. The hydrophilic biopolymer backbone provides aqueous environment affinity and tissue adhesion performance that enhance biological system compatibility.
