Description

These scaffolds are composed of a polylactic acid (pla) matrix reinforced with nano-hydroxyapatite (nha) particles. the nha provides an inorganic mineral phase that mimics the composition of natural bone and significantly improves the bio-affinity and mechanical stiffness of the pla scaffold. the resulting material features a high specific surface area and a stable porous network, used to study biomimetic mineralization and cellular behavior in non-human in vitro models.
