Description

This highly advanced biomimetic formulation features platelet membrane glycoprotein liposomes. The macromolecular architecture consists of a stable synthetic phospholipid bilayer matrix engineered to express and accommodate native glycoprotein fragments purified directly from natural platelet cell membranes. The incorporation of these natural amphiphilic membrane glycoproteins (such as GP Ib-IX-V or GP IIb-IIIa complexes) directs the orientation of the protein outward from the bilayer interface, presenting a dense macromolecular target-mimetic array that modifies the overall surface topography and surface charge profile.
