Description
These scaffolds consist of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) fibers organized into a porous, 3D non-woven mat. PLGA is a well-characterized biodegradable polyester whose degradation rate can be precisely tuned by varying the monomer ratio. The resulting nanofibrous structure provides an interconnected pore network with high surface area, ideal for studying mass transport and molecular release in a controlled, biodegradable environment.
