Description
Poly(n-isopropylacrylamide-co-graphene oxide) (P(NIPAm-co-GO)) hybrid hydrogels are photothermally active responsive materials. The composition involves the covalent or physical integration of GO into the PNIPAm network to allow the gel to be triggered by light. The structure absorbs near-infrared radiation, which the GO converts into heat, causing the PNIPAm matrix to collapse.
