Properties
Description
Poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate)-modified gold nanorods (PSS-AuNRs) are negatively charged anisotropic nanomaterials wrapped within a layer of polyanionic PSS polymers through electrostatic layer-by-layer assembly. The presence of sulfonated groups gives the nanorod surface a strongly negative zeta potential across both acidic and alkaline pH levels. This product exhibits great water solubility and provides an ideal starting matrix for subsequent cationic layer depositions.
