Description
These scaffolds are composed of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers organized into a porous, non-woven network. PVA is a highly hydrophilic, water-soluble polymer that can be crosslinked to achieve excellent water stability while maintaining high porosity. The resulting mat provides a high surface area platform for studying molecular transport, surface functionalization, and the behavior of hydrophilic polymers in various non-clinical material science experiments.
