Recombinant Brevibacterium fuscum dextran 1,6-α-isomaltotriosidase 49A produced by Escherichia coli, plays a role in the hydrolysis of 1,6-α-D-glucosidic linkages in dextrans by removing consecutive isomaltotriose units from the non-reducing ends of the chains.
