Description
It is a recombinant Campylobacter jejuni GlcNAc 1-P uridyltransferase produced in E. coli. This product can be used to study the mode of action of the enzyme and its potential inhibitors, and can also be used as a glycoengineering tool to modify glycoprotein&glycan in vitro.
Unit Definition
One unit will catalyze the formation of 1 μmol UDP-GlcNAc from GlcNAc-1-P and UTP in one minute at 37°C.
