Recombinant Cellvibrio japonicus acetyl xylan esterase 4A produced by Escherichia coli, is responsible for the hydrolysis of the UDP-3-0-myristoyl-N-acetylglucosamine to transform UDP-3-O-myristoylglucosamine and acetate. It is produced in Escherichia coli.
