Description
It is a recombinant E. coli O157:H7 inorganic pyrophosphatase. This product can be used to study the mode of action of the enzyme and its potential inhibitors, and can also be used as a glycoengineering tool to modify glycan in vitro.

>95%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Unit Definition
One unit will catalyze the release of 1 μmol pyrophosphate in one minute at 37°C.
Applications
This product can be used to study the biocatalytic potential of controlling the cellular concentration of inorganic pyrophosphate (PPi) of Inorganic pyrophosphatases (PPases) and thus driving biosynthetic reactions like nucleic acid and protein synthesis to completion.
