Description
It is a recombinant Pasteurella multocida α2,3-sialyltransferase produced in E. coli. This product can be used to study the mode of action of the enzyme and its potential inhibitors, and can also be used as a glycoengineering tool to modify glycoprotein&glycan in vitro.

One unit will catalyze the formation of 1 μmol Neu5Acα(2-3)Galβ(1-4)Glc from CMP-Neu5Ac and lactose in one minute at 37°C.
