Description

This product consists of salidroside proliposomes (SDS PLs) formulated as a solid-state dry powder precursor matrix to enhance the stability of a hydrophilic phenylethanoid glycoside. The microarchitecture features a water-soluble carbohydrate carrier network uniformly coated with a layer of dehydrated phospholipids and cholesterol alongside the active agent salidroside. This dry configuration completely prevents the rapid chemical hydrolysis of the glycosidic linkage and eliminates premature vesicle aggregation or drug leakage during extended laboratory storage. Upon contact with an aqueous buffer, the solid matrix dissolves instantly, allowing the components to spontaneously self-assemble into uniform liposomes.
