Description

This advanced engineered multi-phase system features ligand-functionalized docetaxel loaded lipid microbubbles. The microfluidic architecture consists of a gaseous micro-core (composed of stable perfluorocarbon gases) enveloped within a monolayer shell of high-purity phospholipids and pegylated lipids that integrates the highly hydrophobic taxane derivative docetaxel directly within its lipophilic tail domain, whose outer surface is modified with targeting ligands. This complex layout balances a dense target-mimetic array with the acoustic resonance and echogenic parameters of a compressed gas core, completely preventing gas dissolution and taxane crystallization under ambient laboratory conditions.
