Description
These silica nanoparticles are engineered with a surface layer of reactive thiol (sulfhydryl) groups through silanization. The -SH groups provide a versatile handle for the covalent attachment of maleimide-functionalized molecules or for the formation of disulfide bridges in chemical synthesis. These particles are highly monodisperse and demonstrate excellent stability in various organic and aqueous laboratory solvents.
