Description
This engineered delivery matrix consists of transferrin-modified neferine nanoliposomes (Tf-Nef NLs) featuring a surface-grafted protein architecture. The vesicle membrane contains natural phospholipids and functionalized maleimide lipids used to covalently anchor transferrin glycoproteins. Hydrophobic neferine molecules are deeply intercalated within the hydrocarbon tail region of the lipid bilayer structure. This modification alters the overall surface charge and increases the steric stability of the nanoliposomes.
