The structural matrix encapsulates a macromolecular cytotoxic toxin protein within its central aqueous core, while the exterior lipid bilayer is integrated with polyethylene glycol polymer-lipid conjugates and functionalized with anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) trastuzumab monoclonal antibodies linked via covalent polymer anchors. This dual-functional surface topography balances a dense target-mimetic ligand array with a protective hydrophilic steric shield, completely preventing physical vesicle aggregation and isolating the active protein core.
