Description
This formulation represents ursolic acid nanoliposome particles (UA-PL-NPs) designed to stabilize a highly hydrophobic pentacyclic triterpenoid acid. The structural framework consists of a phosphatidylcholine lipid bilayer that accommodates ursolic acid within its interior lipophilic core. The composition is optimized to maintain high drug retention and prevent the rapid formation of large triterpenoid crystals in aqueous suspension. The resulting vesicles exhibit a narrow size distribution and a negative surface charge profile.
