Description

This specialized matrix formulation features water-soluble peptide loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) engineered as a rigid sub-micron carrier template. The structural framework encapsulates a polar hydrophilic model peptide compound within its core matrix via a reverse-phase microemulsion technique, completely enclosed within a highly ordered, solid crystalline lipid core matrix composed of high-purity solid lipids (such as tristearin) stabilized by an outer surfactant layer. This non-bilayer solid sub-micron layout restricts core molecular mobility and introduces intense mass transfer resistance across the matrix thickness, completely preventing physical particle aggregation and restricting water-mediated peptide hydrolysis under controlled laboratory indices.
