(3-Aminopropyl)-trimethoxysilane-functionalized Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles are engineered with a high-purity magnetite core encapsulated by a robust organosilane shell. The APTMS molecules form a cross-linked siloxane network (Si-O-Si) on the surface, which prevents the oxidation of the core and introduces active terminal primary amine groups. This structural design ensures a high density of nucleophilic sites and excellent colloidal stability in polar solvents.
