EGFR-IN-5 is a compound that blocks the activity of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), both of which are involved in driving the growth and proliferation of certain types of cancer cells. It targets EGFR, EGFR (L858R), EGFR (L858R)/T790M, and EGFR (L858R)/T790M/C797S.
EGFR-IN-5 is used to study its effects on inhibiting EGFR-HER2, forming part of research efforts to combat diseases caused by abnormal activation of these receptors.
