These hematoporphyrin monomethyl ether (HMME) conjugated sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium erbium at sodium yttrium fluoride ytterbium neodymium (NaYF4:Yb,Er@NaYF4:Yb,Nd) core-shell upconversion nanoparticles (core-shell UCNPs) utilize an advanced neodymium-sensitized shell to enable excitation at 808 nm. The composition integrates the hmme molecules onto the outer shell to ensure proximity for efficient Foerster resonance energy transfer. The structure is engineered to provide high chemical stability and consistent optical performance in various non-biological media.
