Laburnum anagyroides lectin (LAL) specially binds to α-Methyl-L-Fucose among monosaccharides. Inhibiting or Eluting Sugar: Fucα(1-2)Galβ(1-4)Glu or Fucα(1-2)Galβ(1-4)Glcβ(1-6)GalNAcβ(1-3)Gal. This product can be used in glycobiology, immunochemistry, immunofluorescence, western blot and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
LAL (< 60 µg/mL) agglutinates type O human erythrocytes; LAL (2 µg/mL) agglutinates neuraminidase treated red blood cells.
