Cilengitide trifluoroacetate, soluble in DMSO and water and insoluble in ethanol, is an effective cytoskeleton inhibitor, that has the ability to prevent the pathway of cytoskeletal signaling by inhibiting integrin. It targets the αvβ3 receptor (cell-free assay) and αvβ5 receptor (cell-free assay).
