Description

This material features a high-surface-area microporous organic framework (MPOF) template whose external crystal facets are decorated with disconnected, island-like silver (Ag) nanoclusters. The isolated island-like configuration creates localized, high-density electromagnetic "hot spots" at the metal-organic boundaries, while the underlying organic framework introduces a well-defined network of open micropores that accelerate fluid mass transport. This structural configuration prevents unselective cluster coalescing, maintaining high phase stability.
