Oligosaccharide GT3 is a disaccharide (Gal1,4Glc) with three sialic acid residues (NeuAc) connected to the galactose residue at α2,8/α2,8/α2,3. And it can be used as a target antigen, which contribute to pancreatic beta cell autoimmune death.
