Description
This material consists of crystalline manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanoparticles surface-encapsulated within a layer of linear poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) polymer chains. The PEG brushes form a flexible hydrophilic steric hydration brush that eliminates particle clustering across broad electrolyte levels, while protecting the underlying manganese oxide core from unselective aggregation and sedimentation in neutral fluids.
