Description
This product consists of extremely small iron oxide nanoparticles (ESIONs, typically under 5 nm) surface-modified with an acid-sensitive coating. The ultra-small core provides unique T₁-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast, while the pH-responsive shell triggers particle aggregation or surface changes in acidic microenvironments to alter magnetic relaxivity.
