Recombinant Bacteroides fragilis β-mannosidase 26A produced by Escherichia coli, is responsible for the enzymatic cleavage of β-1,4-mannans and plays a key role in the germination of seeds and microbial hemicellulose degradation.

Applications
Recombinant Bacteroides fragilis β-mannosidase 26A can be used in industrial and consumer production. It has the ability to hydrolyze 4-O-β-D-mannopyranosyl-D-glucose (Man-Glc).
