Recombinant Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron heparin-sulfate lyase 12A produced by Escherichia coli, is a kind of heparin-degrading enzyme produced in Escherichia coli. It is responsible for cleaving 1→4 linkages between hexosamines and uronic acid residues to produce disaccharides.
