Description
Recombinant Streptococcus pneumoniae anhydrosialidase 33B produced by Escherichia coli, is an enzyme that catalyzes the removal of alpha-sialyl groups from N-acetylneuraminic acid glycosides, resulting in the release of 2,7-anhydro-alpha-N-acetylneuraminate.

≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.

35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol
Applications
Recombinant Streptococcus pneumoniae anhydrosialidase 33B can be used for glycobiology research. It has the ability to hydrolyze glycoprotein human alpha-1 (AGP), and sialic acids.
