Description

This product consists of an oxidative stress-sensitive blank PLGA core labeled with the environmentally sensitive fluorophore NBD. The polymer core degrades when exposed to reactive oxygen species. The NBD tag alters its fluorescence intensity as the surrounding polymer matrix transitions from hydrophobic to hydrophilic during degradation.
