Description

This material features a high-surface-area microporous organic framework (MPOF) template whose extensive internal and external pore channels are decorated with crystalline silver (Ag) nanoparticles. The rigid organic framework introduces a well-defined network of open micropores that accelerate fluid mass transport while physically insulating the embedded silver particles from unselective aggregation. This structural configuration successfully pairs the distinctive localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and catalytic traits of silver with the molecular sieving properties of a porous matrix.
