Description
This purely inorganic material features a hetero-structured design consisting of a crystalline titanium dioxide (TiO2) anatase template decorated with metallic silver (Ag) nanoparticles. The inorganic hetero-junction couples the distinct wide-bandgap photocatalytic properties of the TiO2 host with the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and high electrical conductivity of the silver phase, establishing a Schottky barrier that minimizes photogenerated charge recombination. This composition successfully delivers high thermal resilience and outstanding surface chemical reactivity.
