Description
These activated carbon fiber supported upconverting composites are multi-component materials where UCNPs are immobilized onto the surface of high-surface-area carbon fibers. The carbon fiber provides an excellent structural support and adsorbent matrix, while the UCNPs introduce a near-infrared-to-visible optical functionality. This composite architecture is designed for research into light-responsive adsorption and surface-mediated photochemical processes.
