Canine lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of canine LBP as low as 1 μmol/L and its detection range is 7.5-240 μmol/L.

Assay Principle

Canine lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit utilizes purified canine LBP antibody to coat microtiter plate wells, creating a solid-phase antibody. LBP samples are then added to the wells, forming an antibody-antigen-enzyme-antibody complex with HRP-labeled antibodies. After thorough washing, a TMB substrate solution is added, resulting in a blue color formation catalyzed by the HRP enzyme. The reaction is stopped by adding a sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is measured using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of LBP in the samples is determined by comparing the optical density (O.D.) of the samples to a standard curve.
